Tinnitus is a condition that many musicians, DJs and club enthusiasts face both during and after music events. Most cases could have been prevented with the use of earplugs to block out harmful levels of sound.
My solution is a campaign that encourages music lovers to ‘PLUGG’ their ears. I have created a motion piece to highlight the effects of tinnitus. The most common sounds sufferers hear are symbolised through sounds jungle animals make. A common method of promotion in the underground music scene is through a shared love for stickers. ‘PLUGG EM’ stickers can be given out to people and stuck up in venues to remind people to protect their ears.
